Lakeland House is ideally located 5 minutes walk from Lough Corrib and The Lodge at Ashford, which is the closest bar with a terrace overlooking the lake.

It is 10 minutes walk to Ashford Castle where hen parties often enjoy afternoon tea in the world’s most luxurious hotel! There are plenty of outdoor activities in Cong to keep everyone entertained – hawk walks, kayaking, pony trekking, archery, clay pigeon shooting, tree climbing and zipwiring. Cong is also the location of the filming of the John Wayne movie The Quiet Man so film fans love the guided tours to the film locations and a visit to The Quiet Man Museum. Cong has plenty of pubs and restaurants.

Lakeland House offers self catering accommodation with ensuite private rooms and rooms with shared bathrooms. Group rates start from €18 to €23 depending on the type of rooms. There is a full self catering kitchen, dining room, BBQ area, mini-cinema and sitting room. We can offer a fully catered BBQ for €17 extra per person or €22 extra per person (to include steak).
