Allen Centre

Lough Allen Education Centre Drumshanbo , Co Leitrim beside the Lough Allen Hotel.

The accommodation is Failte Ireland approved and the quiet surroundings makes it the perfect place to get away from it all. Situated in the Northwest of Ireland is truly somewhere special! Westport Wargames Paintball

It is the ideal choice for a Stag or Hen Party, we cater for both large and small groups and are open seven days a week- early till late (we are also floodlit for those dark winter evenings!!) Whatever the weather we aren’t afraid to go to battle. In fact we find the rain adds to the fun!!

Birthday parties or family get togethers’ are a common occurrence at our venue and due to our flexibility and experience we are also a popular choice for corporate outings be it as a team building exercise or as a thank you to some valued staff members, especially at Christmas time.

We have an exemplary safety record and our staff hold occupational first aid certificates issued by the Irish Red Cross Society. We are also experienced in catering for groups with special needs and are happy to work with organisers to ensure everyone has a fulfilling experience here at Westport Paintball Wargames.

A typical outing with us begins at either 9:00am sharp or 12.30pm however we advise players to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to these times to ensure registration forms are completed fully by the entire group. Once registration forms have been completed, each player will be issued with all the equipment they need for the games and given a brief demonstration on correct use of same, their hopper will be pre-loaded with ammunition and extra ammunition is available as and when required during the games.

Splatball

Splatball is a fantastic way to experience all the thrill and adrenaline of Traditional Paintball with none of the “pain”!! Played outdoors in woodland and fields, a great selection of game zones with missions designed to test your strategy and skill. Experienced marshalls will guide you to victory during two hours of action packed fun!

Assault Course

Can you all stop laughing long enough to balance, climb & clamber across our Assault Course….With over ten challenging elements rain will not stop play here!! Your against the clock and you must complete each element fully to be in with a chance of getting on the leader board….Chicken out and you’ll lose points for your team!

Blindfold Driving at Xtreme.ie

This whacky driving event (usually done as part of a full or half day team building day) is great fun but extremely challenging – if not a little different. We actually Blindfold the driver and make them tackle our bamboo obstacle course in our 4×4 vehicles. After the initial brief and tour of the course by your instructor, the scene is set. Each driver will be blindfolded; the remaining team members will be in the rear of the vehicle and will use verbal commands to navigate the driver around the course.

Each driver starts off with 10 points. If your vehicle touches a bamboo you loose a point, if you knock over a bamboo you loose five points and so on… Ultimately you can end up with a very large minus score very quickly if not careful. So the team to have the highest score at the end of the day will be the winning team.

Usually the first driver is the guinea pig, this person will make the most mistakes and the navigators will really learn how to communicate more effectively after the 1sy driver. As the team completes the course each time with a different driver they will get more and more experience and by the time they come to the last driver, they should in theory get a clear round and retain all 10 points. This is not a physical challenge and is available for people of all levels of fitness.

Zorbing at Fun Man Way

Would you be brave enough to ride down a hill inside a giant, see-through zorb ball?

Then come to Fun Man Way and experience zorbing in the only cornered globe riding track in Europe.  This track runs at over 265 meters and an even steeper straight track at 245meters! You can ride these tracks either harnessed into the globe ball or chilled inside in a zorb filled with 12 gallons of spring water, rolling and sliding around each other the whole way down the back of the Yewtree Hill.

The innovative, weather-independent Boda Borg is a Swedish concept unique to Ireland and is challenging for everyone.

Once you enter the two-storey Boda Borg complex, only teamwork, ingenuity, and trial and error and skills you probably didn’t know you have will allow you to progress through its 47 rooms!  It contains fun-filled activities, imaginative puzzles, and enjoyable tasks but does not include instructions as figuring out what the task is is part of the challenge!
